From the ZACC Steering Committee

The ZACC blog will be a daily resource for updating our colleagues in the field as well as at zoos. We will give you a heads-up of grant deadlines, lecture dates by researchers, new developments from field sites, recommended books and documentaries, as well as highlighting zoos that are really doing a fantastic job of being committed to conservation.  We’ll share our collective and individual philosophies and insights into conservation and research efforts around the world. Our ZACC steering committee consists of a combination of zoo folks and field researchers and each of us will be contributing our thoughts/ideas about conservation and the role that zoos/aquariums can and do play in being pro-active conservation organizations.

The ZACC committee consists of:
Rebecca Rose - Columbus Zoo
Peter Riger - Houston Zoo
Lisa Dabek Ph.D. - Woodland Park Zoo & Tree Kangaroo Project
